How far can the golden ratio govern a composition while its marks remain visibly human? Move the sliders. See what you think.
AlgoArt is built around the Golden Ratio. Eight different systems interpret the same mathematical language — arranging, spiralling, dividing, radiating, connecting, growing, constructing and scribbling.
01φ PROPOSES THE COMPOSITION.1.618 proportions, 61.8 / 38.2 divisions and the 137.5° golden angle shape position, scale, spacing and movement.
02THE ALGORITHM CREATES THE STRUCTURE.Every artwork is deterministic. The same seed and settings always rebuild the same image.
03THE MATERIALS BRING THE HUMAN TEXTURE.Choose imperfect marker ink, translucent torn tissue and graphite, or layered watercolour washes. Wobble, layering and uneven marks give mathematical structures a hand-drawn character.
